part i.Character name: Mycroft Holmes
Fandom: SherlockSpecies: Human
Character powers: None
part ii.1.) Is it acceptable for your character to be mind-controlled or persuaded? How susceptible are they to mind control, hypnotism, or suggestion? It would be nice if you let me know first, but I could be down for this. As a run-of-the-mill human, Mycroft is susceptible to basically anything, unless your character's powers are affected by someone's innate stubbornness or intelligence.
2.) Is it acceptable for your character to have their mind read? Does this include traumatic memories? What is their mind like (disturbing, orderly, joyful, surprisingly empty, etc.)? If the character has psychic walls or preventative measures against psychic interference, please explain.Mind-reading is always fun! Again, Mycroft has no way to stop someone from doing this, he's just a guy. His mind might be a little overwhelming, though. It's furiously fast, constantly processing everything around him as well as never-ending hypothetical situations, plans for the future, and patterns from the past all at once. Despite that, it's very orderly. Overall kind of like a machine running so quickly you can't even see its movements.
3.) Are thoughts mentioned in narration acceptable for a telepath to pick up?Absolutely.
4.) What about emotions, in the case of an empath? What sort of general emotional reading would such a character receive from yours? This is also fine. Emotionally, Mycroft has a few layers to get through. On the surface, he's distant, walled-off, cold and calculating. Just under that there's a lot of confidence, superiority, watchfulness, a bit of paranoia, determination, and a wry sense of humor. At the heart of things he's
extremely protective, constantly worried (mostly about his brother), insatiably curious, repressed, deeply ashamed of his failures, and tired.
5.) Are there any aspects of your character's mind, emotions, or memories you would like to be picked up, mentioned, or used in character? Conversely, is there anything that should not be noticed, or at least never mentioned?Uh, I'm not sure at the moment if there's anything I definitely want to be read by anyone, but I don't think there's anything I specifically want to keep hidden.
